Park Gymnastics Summer Camp Policies & Agreements

By registering for a Park Gymnastics Summer Camp program, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following policies, terms, and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, organized, and positive experience for all campers, families, and staff.

Communication

Email CommunicationEmail is our primary form of communication for registration confirmations, receipts, schedule updates, and general camp information. Families are responsible for ensuring that emails from Sawyer and support@park-gymnastics.com, are not filtered into spam or junk folders.

Registration & Fees

  • Camp space is not guaranteed until full payment has been received.

  • Registration is valid only for the specific camper and session selected.

Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Policy

  • Before April 1: Full refund, minus transaction/processing fees.

  • On or After April 1: No refunds.

Additional policies:

  • Registration fees are non-transferable between campers.

  • Requests to transfer to a different camp session must be submitted in writing to support@park-gymnastics.com and are subject to availability and administrative approval.

  • No session transfers are permitted within two weeks of the camp start date.

  • If a camp session is canceled due to low enrollment, families may transfer to another available session or receive a full refund.

Registration Confirmation

Families will receive an automatic confirmation email upon completing registration. Please review this confirmation carefully. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your registration may not have been completed. Contact support@park-gymnastics.com promptly so our team can assist.

Required & Optional Forms

All required forms—including liability waiver, emergency contact information, medical forms, and medication authorization forms—must be fully completed and submitted before the first day of camp.

  • Campers may not participate without completed forms on file.

  • No refunds will be issued for failure to submit required documentation.

Disclosure of Special Needs or Behavioral History

Families must disclose, prior to or at the time of registration:

  • Any officially diagnosed physical, medical, developmental, or behavioral needs.

  • Any history of being dismissed from another program due to behavioral concerns.

If a camper requires a one-on-one aide during the school year, they must also have an aide during camp. Park Gymnastics does not provide individual aides.

Safety & Behavior Policy

Park Gymnastics is committed to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safe environment.

All campers are expected to:

  • Participate actively and safely in all camp activities

  • Follow coach and staff instructions

  • Respect peers, coaches, equipment, and space

  • Keep hands and bodies to themselves

  • Use kind and appropriate language

If a camper’s behavior interferes with safety, learning, or enjoyment, staff will work with families to address concerns. Continued or severe disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from camp.

Immediate dismissal may occur for behavior that endangers others, including but not limited to hitting, kicking, or threatening behavior. No refunds will be issued for dismissal due to behavioral reasons.

Dismissal From Camp

If a camper cannot safely participate in group activities, parents/guardians will be contacted and required to pick up their child as soon as possible. Dismissal decisions are made at the discretion of camp administration and are final.

Health, Illness & Wellness

  • Campers must be fever-free for 24 hours prior to attending camp.

  • If a camper develops a fever or becomes ill during the day, families will be contacted for immediate pick-up.

  • Campers who are unwell should remain home to protect the health of others.

Park Gymnastics follows all applicable state and federal health guidelines regarding communicable illnesses. Families will be notified of any policy updates as needed.

Lice Policy

If lice or nits are discovered, families will be contacted for immediate pick-up. Campers must be nit-free before returning to camp.

Medication Policy

  • Staff cannot administer regularly scheduled daily medications.

  • "As needed" prescription or over-the-counter medications may be administered only if:

    • Medication is provided in original packaging

    • All required authorization forms are completed and submitted

    • Prescription medications include a physician’s signature

All medications must also be listed on the camper’s emergency/medical information form. Any changes must be communicated at least one week prior to camp start.

Late Pick-Up Policy

Timely pick-up is required.

  • Pick-ups more than 15 minutes late will incur a $25 late pick-up fee.

  • On-site staff may not waive late fees.

Authorized Pick-Up

Campers will be released only to adults listed on the approved pick-up authorization form. Valid identification may be required.

Off-Site Activities: Dimond Park Walks

Weather permitting, campers will walk with staff to Dimond Park for lunch and outdoor play. This activity is a required part of the camp program for all participants, no exceptions.

Photo & Media Release

Campers may be photographed or recorded during camp activities. By registering, you grant Park Gymnastics permission to use your camper’s image in marketing materials, including digital media, social media, website content, newsletters, and promotional materials.

Consent may be revoked at any time by submitting written notice to support@park-gymnastics.com.

Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

I acknowledge that participation in gymnastics and related camp activities involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my child.

I represent that my child is physically and medically able to participate and that I carry appropriate medical insurance coverage.

I authorize Park Gymnastics staff to provide first aid and seek emergency medical treatment if necessary and agree to be responsible for all related medical costs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Park Gymnastics, its owners, staff, coaches, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims arising out of my child’s participation.

Agreement & Acknowledgment

I certify that I have read and fully understand the Park Gymnastics Summer Camp Policies & Agreements. I acknowledge that registration constitutes acceptance of all terms outlined above.
